Laura Schleicher

Laura Hansen Schleicher is originally from Western New York and is the newest faculty member at ASG Music Studios in the voice and piano department. Laura recently returned to the WNY area after performing and teaching in Los Angeles for three years and in Boston, MA for eight years.

 

She has taught both privately and at the collegiate level and enjoys teaching students of varying age, experience and interests.

Laura has a B.A. in Voice Performance from SUNY Fredonia and a M.M. in Opera from Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA. She has enjoyed performing with the Los Angeles Metro Opera and Odyssey Opera, Calliope Ensemble, Forca, and Boston Vocal Arts in Boston, among many other organizations. She participated in the V.O.I.C. Experience Program with Sherrill Milnes after completing her Master’s Degree and is currently a member of the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus.

 

Laura enjoys singing opera and musical theater, and working with her students on all styles of music
